The Organization also supports and offers programs for students in inner-city communities to learn practical and fundamental knowledge of culinary arts.
- HUNGER PREVENTS CHILDREN FROM REACHING THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. (9 out of 10 teachers say a healthy breakfast is a key to academic achievement)
- MORE THAN 16 MILLION KIDS IN AMERICA LIVE IN A HOUSEHOLD WHERE THEY STRUGGLE TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE.
- NEARLY 22% OF CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18 LIVE IN POVERTY
One Chef Can 86 Hunger wants to be the change. Feeding the Community brings us one step closer to ending the hunger epidemic in our neighborhoods. We want to give children and their families viable information that will help them everyday.
